Petr Sorfa drew this illustration of the Red Bat after a close encounter. If you have looked back at the history of Red Bat Sightings you'll notice that the chance viewing always seem to increase near Halloween and in June during Pedalpalooza. We'll we see Red Bat this Halloween?

Pedalpalooza parade ready, bling and all
Debbie (aka Blue Peep) spotted Red Bat at the Pedalpalooza 2006 kick-off Parade at Jamison Park in NW Portland. Note the bling: frilly basket, bee bell, & Handlebar ornament - miniature gold Roman statue.

Red Bat likes Bikes, Beer, & Bands!
Jonathan Maus snapped this photo of the Red Bat flying down Front Ave in the August 2005 Tour de Fat (Bikes, Beer, & Bands Festival) Bike Parade in Downtown Portland. Later that day the Red Bat was causing trouble with Timo the Cow.

Red Bat wins no Prize; Sore Loser
These snapshots show the Red Bat in a Halloween costume contest an undisclosed corporate office. It has reported that the Red Bat left a sore loser especially after learning of cash prizes. English Ivy (pictured next to Red Bat) won first place (well deserved). The Red Bat was sure that second prize would be easy - but lost 2nd prize to someone dressed as a hooker and 3rd prize for someone in a trench coat who dressed up as the character Bullseye. I mean come on, the Red Bat was obviously robbed of a prize. PS. Check out the corporate lanyard around Red Bat's neck. {Click images to Enlarge}.

Super RedBat flies under the radar!
Red Bat aka Super Red Bat joins the likes of Captain Clasher, Wrong way Man, Nature Boy, Swineish Urban Villain (S.U.V.) and other Superheroes & Villains for a evening of fighting crime (or making crime) on the streets of Portland. (All traveling via bicycle of course!) Here is the Red Bat spotted with the gang at The Slammer in SE Portland.

Red Bat at the Pedal Picnic
Wait.. who's that on the back of the triple tandem bike with Bruce & Carla at Peninsula Park in North Portland -- Red Bat of course! Sources say Red Bat had a most enjoyable time at this Pedal Picnic during Pedalpalooza in Portland.

First Sighting!
In October 2003, the Red Bat was first seen prancing across the Schaffers' front lawn in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Marge & Eric Schaffer were enjoying dinner outside on their front patio, when the Red Bat, suddenly, ran across their lawn. "Oh my gosh, that was different," Marge said. And then she went back to eating her Jell-O salad.
