(Zeitgeist Photography) of the Pretty Dress Ride from September 12, 2004. We started at Peninsula Park, had a fun photo shoot, then biked leisurely to St. Johns via quiet neighborhoods and parks. We stopped for the occasional Pretty view, and even stopped at a lemonade stand and were served by a Shriner and a devil-child (who also pumped up tires). Once in St. Johns we paraded down main street, then settled into Patties Homeplate for grilled cheese sandwiches and icecream sundaes & shakes. Pattie was especially keen on our only boy, Dan, and had Dan show off his dress to her husband! Then we took a walk through St. Johns to view art by local artists in the St. Johns Window project.
